We don’t often let out our hopeless romantic side, but it is Valentine’s Week after all. Love is in the air, so instead of going on a romantic comedy Netflix binge, we went down a YouTube black hole of marriage proposals. Gone are the days of simply going down on one knee, these geeks are finding creative ways to integrate technology and personality into popping the question that might crack even the most cynical. After viewing a multitude of epic wins and a few massive failures, we narrowed it down to our five favorites. 

“I love you.” “I know.”

The force is strong with Patrick Quiring, who popped the question by organizing a Star Wars-themed pub-crawl and flash mob as part of a very public proposal. And of course, it was on May the 4th.
