What To Expect From the Video Game Industry in 2017
It’s safe to say that gaming has come a long way since the days of Atari and Nintendo. Just this year, the gaming industry incorporated virtual reality technology to offer gamers a new, exciting experience. Gone are the days of playing from the couch. Gaming just got mobile. Playstation just rolled out its own experience with the Playstation®VR. You can expect a slew of VR games to hit the market in 2017. Could some of these titles be one of them? Only time will tell!
Halo Wars 2
Halo Wars 2 is the second installment by 343 Industries and Creative Assembly. It’s part of a relatively new series that differs from Xbox’s first-person shooter mega-hits like Halo and Halo 2. The Halo Wars series offers a completely new experience. It’s a real-time strategy game that allows players to command whole armies from a bird’s eye view of the battlefield.
Gran Turismo Sport
Gran Turismo Sport is the long-awaited seventh installation to the wildly popular Gran Turismo franchise. Project Sonic 2017 (tentative title)
Adults and children alike remember Sonic the Hedgehog as the speedy star character of Sega gaming consoles, he’s basically the Super Mario of Nintendo. The game was announced at Sega’s 25th anniversary of the series at San Diego Comic-Con.
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard
Resident Evil is Capcom’s longest-running game series, playing second only to their extremely popular Street Fighter franchise that began in 1987.
