Modis is a U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Team Spnosor

Modis is proud to be an official sponsor for the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Teams.  We value the unique qualities that make athletes so successful: teamwork, determination and leadership, just to name a few.  While some athletes gain enough fame and influence to garner big endorsement deals, the majority of these dedicated Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls depend on financial assistance from sponsors to fund their training and help them on their way to representing our country, and we at Modis want to support them on their journey as they vie for the gold.

As an Olympic and Paralympic Ring Sponsor, we support athletes before, during and after their Olympic training and competition.  We believe in helping these elite athletes not just win big in their respective sports, but in their careers as well.  Our Athlete Career Program, developed in partnership with United States Olympic Committee, helps U.S. Olympians, Paralympians, coaches and hopefuls build their professional skills and prepare for life after sport.

We challenge all our colleagues and associates to be inspired by the athletes’ example and stay dedicated to success, so it’s important to us to show our support for such outstanding accomplishments, as well as for the global cooperation and friendship between participating countries.

We are sure that, like us, you too are pumped up for the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games.  Be on the look out for our future blog posts featuring the events, athletes and venues of the 2014 Olympic Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia.  As the games draw nearer we plan to celebrate our U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes, so don’t miss out on our party! Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Pinterest for some great Olympic-themed information and, of course, some fun prizes and giveaways.

With the new infrastructure in place, the Sochi reigon will most definitely not be abandoned after 2014. It was a popular tourist resort even during USSR times and apart from still being that, it will host the Russian Formula 1 Grand Prix from 2014 to 2020, the football world cup in 2018, many winter sport events (bandy, ice hockey, skiing) etc. I’d say that the reigon is in fact entering a new prosperous era if anything, at least as far as tourism goes.
